Since the earthquakes in Nepal in April and May, Nepali social artists working with ICA Nepal have massively distributed food supplies to the different earthquake affected locations such as Sindhupalchowk, Changunarayan, Dhading, Bulngamati, Sangla Nala, and Gorkha. They also contacted their NGO partners to further assess needs and learned that most marginalized people have been severely affected by the disaster, especially Entire Power for Social Action (EPSA), Disabled Service Center (DSC), and Nepal Integrated Blind Association (NIBDA).
Gradually the focus has turned to the rehabilitating and rebuilding activity. Monsoon is approaching and it has become urgent to build shelters for thousands of people who are living in an open space, especially those who are not able to help themselves. Here is a video that tells the story:
